Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cable support member that is highly durable and highly manufacturable. This cable support member is provided with a plurality of holding members and an elastic member. Each holding member comprises an elastic member insertion passage through which the elastic member is inserted, and further comprises joint surfaces that enable rotation in a state where adjacent holding members are in mutual contact on both sides of the cable support member. The elastic member is inserted into the elastic member insertion passage in the longitudinal direction of the plurality of holding members, holds the plurality of holding members in alignment and applies compression force to the plurality of holding members. With this configuration, the cable can assume a neutral position in which it is roughly straight and a curved position in which it has been deformed by bending.
