Abstract:
Disclosed is a cable terminal connection part that reduces the surface processing range for a cable insulator, reduces the work required when inserting rubber stress cones, and reduces assembly work. A rubber stress cone (3) is mounted to the external circumference of a cable insulator (12) in a cable terminal (2), over an outer semiconductive layer (13'). An insulating tube (5) surrounds the cable terminal (2) and the rubber stress cone (3) and is filled internally with insulating fluid (4). The outer periphery of the cable insulator (12) is divided into a first processing section (L1) where the rubber stress cone (3) is mounted and a second processing section (L2) that extends from the tip of this processing section (L1) to the tip of the cable insulator (12). The outer diameter of the first processing section (L1) is thicker than the internal diameter of the rubber stress cone (3) and the external diameter of the second processing section (L2) is thinner than the internal diameter of the rubber stress cone (3). The cable insulator (12) in the second processing section (L2) has a thickness whereby at least the electric field V1 (kV/mm) applied to the diameter direction of the cable insulator (12) is greater than the electric field V2 (kV/mm) applied to the shaft direction of the second processing section (L2).
