Abstract:
A cable traction apparatus for pulling and holding and, insofar as possible, for releasing a cable (5) or similar pulling belt (200) when loaded, in which an improvement is achieved in handling, and in particular the possibility of single-handed operation, by the fact that at least one drivable roller (7) operates with its peripheral surface (500) on the pulling belt (200) in the pulling and holding direction. The pulling belt (200) is held, at least when used for pulling and holding, against the drivable roller (7) by means of a guide element (300) in the apparatus. A drive unit (400) operates on the drivable roller (7), at least in the pulling and holding direction. A first gripping element (600) connected permanently to the housing (21) which receives the cable traction apparatus (100), fulfils a clamping function for preferably a single hand of the operator. A second gripping element (700) enables intermittent repeated operation of the drive unit (400) during traction by the single hand of the operator, whereby the first and second gripping elements (600 and 700) are associated with one another in such a way that they can always be jointly gripped or operated by the single hand of the operator.
