Abstract:
A cable trough device comprises a cable trough (2) having a trough body (4) and a lid (6), and a fixing mechanism for fixing the lid (6) to the trough body (4). The fixing mechanism includes a rib (12) projecting from the side wall (8) of the trough body (4), a U-shaped groove (14) formed in the upper surface of the lid (6), and a lid clamper (16) extending between the rib (12) and the U-shaped groove (14). The lid clamper (16) has a clip (18) attached to the rib (12), and a hook (28) extending from the clip (18) and adapted to fit in the U-shaped groove (14).
