Abstract:
A cable (10) with connector manufacturable at high productivity and allowing a remarkable reduction in cost and a method of manufacturing the cable, the connector wherein a plurality of cables (20) having external conductors (23) of metal plated layers thereon are installed, parallel with each other, in insulator layers (22) installed around the conductors (21) of single wires or strands at specified pitches, a connector member (30) having a connection terminal (38) for connecting the conductors (21) of the cables (20) to an external terminal and a gland wire terminal connected to the external conductor (23) is connected to at least the longitudinal one end part of the group of the cables (20), and an external covering layer integrally covering the group of the cables (20) is formed integrally with the connector member (30).
