Abstract:
Provided is a cache control method with which the time required for identifying a person is reduced. In this method executed by a computer, when biometric information about a person has been acquired, a registered person corresponding to the person is identified among a plurality of registered persons in accordance with the degree of similarity between the biometric information about the person and biometric information about the plurality of registered persons stored in a cache. Additionally in this method, after the identification, the biometric information about the registered persons is erased from the cache. Further, in this method, the biometric information about the identified registered person is stored in the cache at the date and time determined on the basis of a history including information about each date and time when the identifying was performed.
