Provided are: a cage door sealing device which enables the sealability of a sealing member that seals a gap in the cage door to be improved; and an elevator device. This cage door sealing device is provided with: a sealing mechanism body (9) capable of rotating around a rotary axis (10) which is roughly parallel to the inner surface of the door; a sealing member (12); an urging means (11) which urges the sealing mechanism body (9) in the direction in which the sealing member (12) detaches from the door (1); a mating roller (8); and an inclined cam (7) that mates with the mating roller (8) when the cage door (1) closes. The cage door sealing device is characterized in that: when the mating roller (8) and the inclined cam (7) mate, the sealing mechanism body (9) forces the sealing member (12) into contact with the door (1); the sealing member (12) is disposed at a position lower than the rotary axis (10) of the sealing mechanism body (9); and the direction of rotation in which the sealing mechanism body (9) rotates when the sealing member (12) and the door (1) are forced into contact is the same direction as the direction in which the sealing member (12) is pressed due to the pressure in the cage when the pressure in the cage has risen beyond the pressure outside the cage.
