Abstract:

Disclosed is a cage (14) which is constituted of a magnesium alloy such as AZ91D and has been formed by injection molding. In the injection molding for forming this cage (14), confluence regions, which are regions that contain voids formed by confluence of flows of the magnesium alloy, flowed out of the cage (14). When a cross-section of the cage (14) is examined, the proportion of α-phase grains having a diameter of 20 µm or more in the magnesium alloy constituting the cage (14) is less than 15%.
