Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a support for cell culture, which has excellent cell holding ability (adsorption/adhesion) and is easy to handle after culture in comparison to conventionally used culture supports.
[Solution] A culture support composed of a calcium phosphate porous body, which is characterized in that: the culture support has a shape of plate; a porous material is exposed from one surface of the plate; and the other surface of the plate is formed as a smooth surface. A composite body that is composed of the culture support wherein cells are cultured on the surface where the porous material is exposed and/or at the inside.
