Abstract:
The present invention detects the state of an occupant with high accuracy. The calculation device according to the present invention is an in-vehicle calculation device that is configured to be capable of being electrically connected to a contact part that is provided at a position where a driver of a vehicle makes contact with, and is provided with: a signal output unit that outputs an electrical signal to the driver through the contact part; and a determination unit that determines the state of the driver on the basis of a response from the contact part in response to the electrical signal of the signal output unit.
