Abstract:
In a write process, which is the processing of a write request, this calculator system executes (A) to (C) below: (A) before storing in one or more storage devices, a piece of data to be written, which is stored in the cache region and conforms to the write request, the calculator system determines the data value of the piece of data to be written on the basis of management information including completely stored data management information indicating the data access situation and data type of each piece of data completely stored in the one or more storage devices; (B) the calculator system stores the piece of data to be written in one of the one or more storage devices when the data value determined for the piece of data to be written is equal to or higher than a predetermined value; and (C) the calculator system prevents the piece of data to be written from being stored in one of the one or more storage devices when the data value determined for the piece of data to be written is less than the predetermined value.
