Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a calibration auxiliary device for a mobile body-mounted camera, which performs an auxiliary control for calibration with respect to a mobile body-mounted camera calibration device that adjusts an installation state of the mobile body-mounted camera. The calibration auxiliary device for a mobile body-mounted camera includes: a feature point extraction unit, a trajectory calculation unit, and a comparison calculation processing unit. The feature point extraction unit extracts feature points from images captured by the mobile body-mounted camera. The trajectory calculation unit calculates the trajectory of the feature points that move in the images due to the movement of the mobile body. The comparison calculation processing unit performs an auxiliary control by outputting a signal for restoring an installation state of the mobile body-mounted camera to an accurate installation state that has been determined in advance with respect to the mobile body-mounted camera calibration device on the basis of the trajectory of the feature points in a deviated state from the accurate installation state that has been determined in advance and a defined trajectory in the accurate installation state that has been determined in advance.
