Abstract:
A calibration method for measuring moisture content of fallen leaves using a tubular FDR sensor (4). The method comprises: continuously measuring moisture content and wet weight of fallen leaves respectively using the tubular FDR sensor (4) and an electronic scale, and finally obtaining dry weight of the fallen leaves; calculating moisture content of the fallen leaves using dry weight data and wet weight data of the measured fallen leaves for each measurement by the tubular FDR sensor (4); according to obtained true moisture content data of the fallen leaves and corresponding measured moisture content value data, determining a quantitative relationship therebetween, thereby obtaining a calibration model of measuring the moisture content of the fallen leaves using the tubular FDR sensor (4); and monitoring moisture content of forest litter layer in real time according to the calibration model using the tubular FDR sensor (4). According to the method, the process of measuring moisture content of fallen leaves can be simplified and the measurement accuracy can be improved.
