Abstract:

In this calibration method, a rotation angle calculation device (20, 30) calculates (S2) a rotation angle θc on the basis of a detection signal by a sensor, transmits (S3), to a calibration device (40), rotation angle data Da indicating the rotation angle θc, and transmits (S3), to the calibration device, time difference data Dt relating to a time difference from taking in of the detection signal to transmitting of the rotation angle data. The calibration device measures (S1) a rotation angle θr, clocks (S1, S4) measurement clock time tm at which the rotation angle θr was measured and communication clock time tt at which rotation angle data was transmitted or received, and acquires (S5, S6) calibration data Dc for the rotation angle data by comparing the rotation angle data Da with the rotation angle θr measured at clock time tc2 which is time going back from the communication clock time tt by the time difference from taking in of the detection signal to transmitting the rotation angle data.
