Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a call holding method and a wireless terminal. The methods comprises: receiving a call holding request sent by a peer end, and reply a 200OK message to the peer end; receiving an instruction of a user for sending the call holding request to the peer end, and confirming whether an acknowledgment message made by the peer end according to the call holding request of the peer end is received; and processing, according to the condition of the confirmed acknowledgment message, the instruction of the user for sending the call holding request to the peer end. By means of the call holding method and the wireless terminal provided in the embodiments of the present invention, when a user has a call holding request, the mobile terminal confirms first whether a call holding process of the peer end made by the peer end is completed, and then determines to process the call holding request of the user, so as to prevent call drops, thereby improving user experience.
