Abstract:
A calling method between the terminals of packet multimedia communication system, wherein the H.323 slow startup terminal can call another H.323 terminal through a SIP relay. In the present invention, the SIP 200 OK information is filled with a SDP information constructed virtually, such that the SIP relay can be performed, the information, such as the capacity, address, port number and so on, of the H.323 terminal can be obtained through the divide of the H.245 interaction process, and the both sides can know each other by media change direction etc., finally the normal calling is set up; alternatively, the particular SDP information can be identified through agreeing on a particular coding/decoding information, the H.245 address information for bearing the called H.323 terminal is transmitted to the calling H.323 terminal through the SIP relay, the both sides set up the media communication by negotiation finally.
