Abstract:
Provided is a cam for lifting/lowering an exhaust valve wherein exhaust gas can be recirculated as much as possible to one cylinder from another cylinder while contact of a piston with the exhaust valve is avoided without relying upon electronic control. A cam for lifting/lowering an exhaust valve of one cylinder is provided with an exhaust main lift portion for discharging exhaust gas from a cylinder, and a recirculation lift portion that is formed on the downside of the direction in which an exhaust valve press cam rotates in order to increase the recirculation amount of exhaust gas flowing into the exhaust port of one cylinder from another cylinder, and that delays the close timing of valve lift or maintains a high lift, wherein the exhaust main lift portion and recirculation lift portion are formed to rise from a base circle (R) in order to increase overlap with another cylinder while avoiding the contact of the exhaust valve with the piston.
