Abstract:
A camera unit (2) is integrally attached to one side surface of a DVD disk deck (1) to prevent the outer profile of the camera unit (2) from protruding beyond the outer profile of the disk deck (1). A hand strap (not shown) is attached to the other side surface of the disk deck (1) to enable us to carry the camcorder by holding the disk deck (1). A liquid crystal monitor (3) capable of swing-opening through preferably at least 120° is provided to a side surface of the camera unit (2), and a monitor operation unit (33) for selecting a DVD-recorded image from a recording index displayed on a display screen (3a) and a speaker (37) for outputting a DVD reproduction sound are provided in a housing unit (32) of the monitor (3).
