Abstract:
In order to obtain a camera calibration device that is capable of easily and highly accurately calibrating camera parameters even when the number of parameters required by hardware is smaller than the number of parameters required for the calibration, this camera calibration device (1), said camera calibration device (1) being used for calibrating parameters of respective cameras by capturing images of calibration marks (20) with indefinite relative positions by using multiple cameras (2A-2D), extracts characteristic points of the images captured of the calibration marks from the respective images, obtains calibrated primary parameters (54) by calibrating the respective camera parameters on the basis of the respective images, generates target characteristic points (56) by changing viewpoints of the characteristic points (52) of the captured images by using the calibrated primary parameters (54), and obtains calibrated secondary parameters by recalibrating the calibrated primary parameters by using the target characteristic points (56) and the characteristic points (52) of the captured images.
