Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to easily and accurately distinguish lens types. A camera device that comprises: a lens mount on which is installed a lens device that has an automatic diaphragm function; a connector that has a plurality of connection terminals that are electrically connected to the lens device that is installed on the lens mount; and a lens distinguishing part that, on the basis of status detection results for the other connection terminals after power has been supplied to one of the plurality of connection terminals, distinguishes what kind of lens device is connected to the connector.
