Abstract:
The present invention relates to a camera device for vehicle safety, the camera device being directly/indirectly connected to hardware and software systems installed in a vehicle. The camera device is connected to an electronic control unit (ECU) and an electric power control unit (EPCU) including a vehicle control unit (VCU), thus enabling an autonomous driving system including an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) through a video algorithm of the camera device and enabling real-time wired/wireless transmission and storage of video through a display device in the vehicle cabin and an antenna module of the camera device. In addition, an emergency rescue following a traffic accident during vehicle operation and the on-site situation before and after the traffic accident can be recorded and used as video material, and the camera device can be activated to record a video of on-site vehicle damage when a physical/chemical change is sensed by a sensor installed in the parked/stationary vehicle.
