Abstract:
On a camera image taken by a camera attached to a vehicle are superimposed multiple graduation lines arranged in a grid with reference to the vehicle, forming an image which is displayed on a display device. Distances in the vehicle width direction and in the camera imaging direction are estimated from the unit distance defined for each grid line of the graduation lines.
