Abstract:
The present invention relates to a camera module capable of adjusting a focal point of a subject by moving a lens in an optical axis direction through an interaction between a coil and a magnet and at the same time, carrying out image stabilization by also moving the lens in the horizontal direction, which is a camera module for performing an autofocus (AF) function by driving the lens in the optical axis direction (z axis) and performing an optical image stabilization (OIS) function by driving the lens on a plane (x-y plane) that is perpendicular to the optical axis (z axis), the camera module comprising: a base which has insertion grooves in each corner direction of the bottom surface thereof, and of which each side surface is open; OIS coil members which are inserted into the insertion grooves of the base and are wound on the x-y plane; a cover seated on the base, having open side surfaces, and having a space part formed therein; a carrier having an AF coil member wounded around the outer circumference thereof and having a lens module inserted thereinto and disposed in the space part of the cover so as to be movable in the optical axis direction; magnets attached to the open side surfaces of the cover and magnetized with different polarities at the inside and the outside of the cover, respectively; and a hook-shaped elastic member for elastically supporting the cover at the base by inserting one end thereof into the upper surface of the cover and coupling the other end thereof to the bottom surface of the base, wherein the magnets and the OIS coil members are disposed to be adjacent to each other in the optical axis direction so as to drive the cover and the carrier on the x-y plane by the magnetic force of the magnets in the optical axis direction, thereby performing the OIS function.
