Abstract:
A camera 1 is provided with: a first light distribution member 5a for distributing infrared light emitted from an infrared light emission unit 4 over a front seat area in a vehicle; a second light distribution member 5b for distributing infrared light emitted from the infrared light emission unit over a rear seat area in the vehicle; and an imaging unit for capturing an image of the interior of the vehicle irradiated with the infrared light distributed by the first light distribution member 5a and the infrared light distributed by the second light distribution member 5b. The first and second light distribution members 5a, 5b are configured such that the average value of infrared lighting intensity in the front seat area becomes substantially equal to the average value of infrared lighting intensity in the rear seat area.
