Abstract:
Provided are: a camera which is capable of preventing erroneous operations by way of a simple configuration, and which has excellent operability; a camera setting method; and a camera setting program. A portion of the outer circumference of a command dial (CD) is incorporated into a camera body (10), and a portion is disposed so as to be exposed from the rear surface of the camera body (10) in order to be operated by being rotated. A sub-display (16) is disposed above the command dial (CD) so as to overlap the command dial. The sub-display (16) is constituted by a touch panel, and contact with the display surface thereof is detected. Operations using the command dial (CD) are enabled while contact with the display surface of the sub-display (16) is detected.
