Abstract:
This lens barrel is provided with: a first frame; a second frame which rotates relative to the first frame around an optical axis; a drive source; a focusing lens; a driving unit driven by means of the drive source and for driving the focusing lens in the optical axis direction; a rotation operating member which is capable of moving to a first location covering a second member in the optical axis direction and to a second location for externally exposing the second member and which is capable of rotating around the optical axis at the first location and the second location; and an engaging means for engaging the second frame with the rotation operating member and for rotating the second frame by means of the rotation of the rotation operating member if the rotation operating member is at the second location, and for not engaging the second frame with the rotation operating member and for not rotating the second frame even when the rotation operating member rotates if the rotation operating member is at the first location.
