Abstract:
A camera system having a F-number varying function has a good convenience when to
confirm the depth of field. The camera system (100) comprises an imaging optical system
(L), an imaging section (45), a diaphragm adjusting section (29), a liquid crystal
monitor (16), and an AGC section (59) of an analog signal processing unit (51).
The imaging optical system (L) forms an optical image of the subject. The imaging
section (45) converts the optical image into an image signal to capture the image
of the subject. The diaphragm adjusting section (29) can adjust the F number of
the imaging optical system. The liquid crystal monitor (16) displays an image.
The AGC section (59) adjusts the brightness of the image displayed on the liquid
crystal monitor (16) according to the F number.
