Description:
CAMPING TENT THAT CAN BE DISASSEMBLED AND FOLDED INTO A

BACKPACK

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention can fall within the technical field of bags that can be transformed into tents, and relates in particular to a camping tent that can be disassembled and folded into a backpack.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

It is known that during open-air excursions it is occasionally necessary to have temporary shelters in order to protect oneself from inclement weather, which can appear suddenly.

As a result, the need arises to have protective structures, like camping tents, that are easily transportable, as well as being quick and simple to assemble and disassemble, since occasionally the user may not have the expertise necessary.

Likewise, said structures must be light, in order to not add excessive weight to the user who carries it, normally folded as a backpack.

A plurality of foldable camping tents are known in the current state of the art that, in the folded arrangement thereof, can be transported as a backpack. For example, the patent document with publication number US6061831 shows a backpack that can be converted into a camping tent in a simple manner, which can likewise be useful for storing and transporting items.

The patent with publication number US8991667 describes a backpack that can be transformed into a camping tent, which has a plurality of flexible tensioning rods, in order to maintain a lateral protective fabric in an unfolded position.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The object of the invention consists of a camping tent that can be disassembled and folded, which in the folded configuration thereof is presented as a backpack that can be transported hung from the back of a user, for which reason it incorporates straps, preferably cushioned and equipped with adjusting means in the length thereof in order to facilitate the placement thereof at the height desired by the user.

A flexible and foldable sheet, preferably opaque and intended to make up a cover of the camping tent, incorporates a plurality of anchors, and a corresponding plurality of connections, for a temporary fastening to the surface of the ground. Likewise, a plurality of rods, telescopically extendable, are located in the outer peripheral edge of the sheet, in order to keep it tense in the unfolded configuration thereof.

The sheet incorporates a plurality of discontinuities coated with a corresponding plurality of sheets of transparent material, in order to make up windows that enable natural light to enter inside the camping tent.

The incorporation of at least one longitudinal discontinuity in the sheet is likewise provided, which is intended to make up an access entrance inside the tent. Corresponding closing elements, preferably complementary Velcro strips, are arranged in the perimeter edges of the discontinuity, in order to maintain said discontinuity temporarily closed.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

As a complement to the present description, and for the purpose of helping to make the characteristics of the invention more readily understandable, in accordance with a preferred practical exemplary embodiment thereof, said description is accompanied by a set of drawings constituting an integral part of the same, which by way of illustration and not limitation represent the following:

Figure 1 .- Shows a front view of the camping tent in the closed and folded configuration thereof as a backpack.

Figure 2.- Shows a side view of the camping tent shown in figure 1 .

Figure 3.- Shows a rear view of the camping tent shown in figure 1 .

Figure 4.- Shows a front view of the camping tent shown in a first unfolding step.

Figure 5.- Shows a rear view of the camping tent shown in an unfolded configuration.

Figure 6.- Shows a perspective side view of the camping tent shown in the unfolded configuration.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

What follows is a detailed description, with the help of the figures referenced above, of a preferred exemplary embodiment of the object of the present invention.

The camping tent that can be disassembled and folded into a backpack that is described is made up of a flexible, opaque and resistant sheet (1 ), which in this preferred embodiment is a laminated fabric.

As illustrated in figure 1 , in the configuration thereof where it is closed and folded on itself, the sheet (1 ) makes up a backpack and incorporates a plurality of anchors (2) for linking to the surface of the ground, telescopically extendable rods (3), connections (4) for housing the rods (3) and an upper handle (5) for gripping the backpack.

Side pockets (6) and front pockets (7) are temporarily linked to the sheet (1 ), in order to create additional exterior housings that increase the capacity of the backpack. The pockets (6, 7) are linked covering corresponding windows (8) defined in the sheet (1 ), in order to enable the passage of light through them. Said windows (8) are made up of discontinuities defined in the sheet (1 ), covered by a corresponding transparent flexible sheet.

The sheet (1 ) likewise incorporates corresponding straps (9), equipped with adjustment elements (10), in order to facilitate the hanging thereof from the back of a user. In the preferred embodiment described herein, said straps (9) likewise incorporate cushioned surfaces.

The sheet (1 ) likewise has a longitudinal discontinuity (1 1 ) intended to make up an access entrance inside the tent. Closing elements (12), which in this preferred embodiment are complementary Velcro strips, are arranged in the perimeter edges of the longitudinal discontinuity (1 1 ), in order to keep it temporarily closed.
