A campus street lamp with an emergent rain sheltering function, comprising a support frame (1) and an inverted bowl-shaped tarpaulin (2). The tarpaulin (2) is provided at the top with an opening (20) matching the cross section of the support frame (1) in shape, and is fixedly connected to the support frame (1) at the opening (20) by means of a sealing ring (21). The tarpaulin (2) is provided with a plurality of first skeletons (22) radially distributed from the opening (20) serving as a vertex to the edge. A sliding ring (10) is slidably disposed on the support frame (1), and is rotatably connected to second skeletons (11) having one-to-one correspondence to and rotatably connected to the first skeletons (22). A pulley (12) is disposed between the sliding ring (10) and the sealing ring (21) on the surface of the support frame (1). A metallic cable (13) is connected to and disposed on the sliding ring (10). An end of the metallic cable (13) distant from the sliding ring (10) is provided with a suspension loop (14). A hook (15) matching the suspension loop is disposed on the support frame (1). When it rains, the metallic cable can be pulled to open the tarpaulin, so as to achieve an emergent rain sheltering function.
