Abstract:
The invention relates to a camshaft adjuster (1) comprising an adjusting gear (2) with an input shaft (7), an output shaft (6) provided for rotationally fixing to a camshaft, and an adjustable shaft (8) wherein said adjustable shaft (8) is driven by an actuator (3). Said actuator (3) drives the adjustable shaft (8) by overriding torque (MB) dependent on the angular position (φ) thereof, with which preferred positions, in particular, latching positions, of the output shaft (6) are adopted.
