Abstract:
Provided is an easily openable can lid that can cause a pulling direction of a tab to act in the direction of the center of the lid as much as possible while ensuring finger hooking property of the tab by devising the shape of an embossed portion. The can lid comprising a tab for breaking a score fixed in a can lid body and an embossed portion in which a fingertip enters in the vicinity of the rear end of a finger hook portion of the tab is characterized in that a slope on the rear end side of the finger hook portion of the embossed portion is provided with a guiding recess for guiding a finger, the guiding recess extending, toward the can lid center, at least to a position facing the widthwise central portion of the back surface of the finger hook portion. The height of a convex portion is set in a range of 0.5-1.2 mm.
