Abstract:
A candle device where petal-like pieces are opened after all the wicks of candles
are ignited. In the candle device (11), large and small sized petal-like pieces
(12, 13) are openably/closably mounted on a stationary base (25) and candles
(14) are individually attached to the petal-like pieces. When the petal-like
pieces are closed, the wicks (14a) of the candles (14) are located at predetermined
igniting positions, and the petal-like pieces (12, 13) are opened after the wicks
(14a) are ignited. The candle device (11) has a compression spring (31) for urging
the petal-like pieces (12, 13) in the direction where they open. The petal-like
pieces (12, 13) and the stationary base (25) are connected by a flammable fixation
cord (15) with the petal-like pieces (12, 13) closed against force of the compression
spring (31). The fixation cord (15) is placed at a position that is closer to the
base end sides (14c) and is spaced from forward ends (14b) of the wicks (14a) of
the candles (14).
