Abstract:
A candle set in which the combustion wicks of a plurality of candles held safely
and surely in butting state can be fired all at once by means of flame of a match,
a lighter, or the like, fireworks are displayed as an opening show until the combustion
wicks are fired all at once so that persons in a meeting place enjoy the fireworks
thus boosting the atmosphere of the meeting place. Around a column (1) supported
on a supporting base (7), a plurality of petal pieces (2) are supported to open/close
freely in the vertical direction such that when each petal piece (2) takes a close
position, a candle (5) fixed to the distal end of each petal piece (2) lies low to
hold the combustion wick (5a) in butting state above the column, each petal piece
(2) is deployed when the combustion wicks (5a) are fired all at once and the candle
(5) fired at an open position is erected on each petal piece (2). In such a candle
set, a blasting rod (13) having a blasting powder layer (14) containing components
of wireworks formed around a core (13a) is stood on the column (1), and the combustion
wick (5a) of each candle (5) is arranged in butting state around the blasting powder
layer (14) close to the proximal portion of the blasting rod (13).
