Abstract:

The present invention relates to a ballast water filtering device and, more particularly, to a candle-type ballast water filtering device comprising a control means for receiving power from a power means and mechanically controlling the rotation of an intake unit, thereby performing backwashing, such that the rotating force is not directly transferred from the power means to the intake unit, but the same is rotated in a mechanical type using a cam type, thereby accurately controlling the distance of rotation of the intake unit, and the stationary state and the rotating state are properly adjusted through the control means, thereby improving the backwashing efficiency.
