Abstract:
Candle (1) comprising cylindrical cup (2) and, placed therein, liquid fuel (4), wherein
the liquid fuel (4) is sealed by seal layer (3) of self shape retaining solid fuel
or semisolid fuel. As leakage of the liquid fuel (4) from the cup (2) is avoided,
like the candle of solid fuel, the candle (1) can conveniently be prefabricated in
a plant, transported to a place of setting and set up there. When wick material (5)
is kindled, first the liquid fuel (4) having been drawn up by the wick material (5)
is burned. After exhaustion of the liquid fuel (4), the solid fuel or semisolid fuel
constructing the seal layer (3) is burned. By changing of the flame color of the
solid fuel or semisolid fuel constructing the seal layer (3) from that of the liquid
fuel (4), there can be obtained a candle excelling in fanciness whose flame color
is switched upon advance of the burning.
