Abstract:
A canned motor pump, wherein a motor stator (26) is housed in a stator chamber (52) that is a space between a tubular stator can (38) for housing a motor rotor (24) and a tubular stator band (44) disposed coaxially with the stator can (38). The stator chamber (52) is closed by annular end plates (46, 48) at the cylindrical ends between the stator can (38) and the stator band (44). The stator chamber (52) is filled with a filler (66). The filler (66) is produced from spherical inorganic material particles filled into the stator chamber and resin for causing the particles to stick to each other. Consequently, the heat release performance of the stator of the canned motor pump is improved.
