Abstract:

Provided is a cannula inserter which includes, inside a casing, a cannula, a needle that is movable inside the cannula, a first movable body, a second movable body, and a biasing mechanism that has a first coil spring and a second coil spring. The first movable body and the second movable body are integrally movable along a direction of advance of the needle by the compressed state of the first coil spring being released and the first movable body being biased by the first coil spring. After the first movable body and the second movable body are moved along the direction of advance to a predetermined location, the first movable body and the second movable body are no longer integral and the compressed state of the second coil spring can be released, so that the second movable body is movable along a direction of retreat of the needle by the second movable body being biased by the second coil spring for which the compressed state has been released.
