Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cap assembly mounted in an opening of a can, the cap assembly comprising: a top cap; a safety element provided on the lower portion of the top cap; a safety vent, which is provided on the lower portion of the safety element, and which has an incision formed thereon; a down cap provided on the lower portion of the safety vent; a gasket, which surrounds the edges of the top cap, the safety element, the safety vent, and the down cap, and which is mounted in the opening of the can; and an ascension inducing unit provided between the safety vent and the down cap such that the same expands by means of high-temperature gas, which is transferred from inside the can, and causes the safety vent to ascend, thereby incising the incision and releasing the high-temperature gas to the outside.
