Abstract:
The present invention is a cap (6) for an indwelling needle which is removably mounted to an indwelling needle (1) for extracorporeal circulation, wherein, inside a needle (4) shaped as a tubular body, an outer peripheral space (16) for communicating with a blood removal-side blood circuit (102) and an inner space (2a) for communicating with a blood returning-side blood circuit (103) are compartmentally formed. The cap is provided with: a storing section (6a) capable of storing within the same space both an aperture (17) that is opened in the needle (4) and that opens the outer peripheral space (16) and a leading end aperture (2b) that is opened separately from that aperture (17) and that opens the inner space (2a); and an O-ring (29) that is for storing the needle (4) in the storing section (6a) in a liquid-tight state.
