Abstract:
Disclosed is a capacitance change detection circuit which makes it possible to improve the sensitivity in detecting changes in liquid crystal capacitance. A capacitance change detection circuit (10) is provided with: a first variable capacitance unit (CLC1) connected with a voltage supply line; a second variable capacitance unit (CLC2) connected in series with the first variable capacitance unit (CLC1); and a TFT (15) which is connected with the second variable capacitance unit (CLC2)and is driven in accordance with the capacitance value of the first variable capacitance unit (CLC1) and the capacitance value of the second variable capacitance unit (CLC2) so as to output electrical signals in accordance with the capacitance values thereof.
