Abstract:
This capacitance change detection circuit (20) includes a Colpitts oscillator (14), a human body detecting unit (8), a variable resistance circuit (9), an amplitude detection circuit (16) and a signal amplifier circuit (12). The amplitude detection circuit (16) changes the resistance value (R3) of the variable resistance circuit (9) depending on the amplitude of the detection voltage (Vd) of the amplifier circuit (4). When oscillation of the Colpitts oscillator (14) stops in response to capacitance change of the human body detection unit (8), the amplitude detection circuit (16) changes the resistance value of the variable resistance circuit (9) so that oscillation restarts.
