Abstract:
This capacitance sensor comprises: at least one sensing electrode ES; a plurality of driving electrodes ED, between which and the sensing electrode ES, parasitic capacitors are formed, respectively; a driving unit 10 capable of changing the voltages of the plurality of driving electrodes ED independently of each other; a reference voltage generation unit 30 that generates a reference voltage Vr; a sensing signal production unit 20 that transfers an electric charge such that the voltage of the sensing electrode ES approaches the reference voltage Vr, and produces a sensing signal S corresponding to the transfer of the electric charge; and a control unit 60 that controls the driving unit 10. The driving unit 10 is able to apply the reference voltage Vr to each of the plurality of driving electrodes ED. The control unit 60 controls the driving unit 10 such that, when the voltages of some driving electrodes ED are changed by the driving unit 10, the reference voltage Vr is applied to the remaining driving electrodes ED.
