Abstract:
A capacitance-type liquid level detection device is provided that is capable of determining a liquid level and a liquid quality. In a tank for storing liquid (10), a plurality of electrode pairs (26a to 26i) disposed at different positions in the height direction, a measuring instrument for obtaining equivalent values (Cx) for the capacitances between each of the electrode pairs from among the plurality of electrode pairs (26a to 26i), a storage unit (33) for storing a plurality of thresholds (Th1 to Th3) determined on the basis of the equivalent values (Cx) for the capacitances between the electrode pairs (26a to 26i) if there is air or each of a plurality of liquids, and a determination unit (32) for determining a liquid level corresponding to a liquid quality by comparing the equivalent values (Cx) for the capacitances between each of the electrode pairs and the plurality of thresholds (Th1 to Th3) are provided.
