Abstract:
Achieved by the present invention is a capacitance value distribution detecting device that can determine the presence or absence of external noise. A capacitance value distribution detecting circuit (2) according to one embodiment of the present invention drives a vertical signal line (VL) to output, from a horizontal signal line (HL), a charge corresponding to a capacitance, and thereafter drives the horizontal signal line to output, from the vertical signal line, the charge corresponding to the capacitance. The capacitance value distribution detecting device is provided with a noise detector (8) that determines the presence or absence of external noise.
