Abstract:
[Problem] When a capacitive level gauge is made to be smaller, because the distance between electrodes becomes shorter, the surface tension of a liquid to be measured causes the liquid surface between the electrodes to rise and produces error. [Solution] To reduce the effect of the surface tension of a liquid to be measured, the surfaces of electrodes are treated so as to bring the angle of contact of the electrodes with the liquid closer to 90°.
