Abstract:
Provided is a capacitor abnormality detector wherein the number of circuit main components is further reduced. In DC power supply circuits (10a, 10b), DC buses (7N, 8N) on the negative side are connected in common. A voltage detecting circuit (15a) detects the voltage between a DC bus (7P) and the DC bus (7N) of the DC power supply circuit (10a). A voltage detecting circuit (15b) detects the voltage between a DC bus (8P) and the DC bus (8N) of the DC power supply circuit (10b). A voltage detecting circuit (15c) detects the difference voltage between the terminal voltage of a capacitor (4c) and the terminal voltage of a capacitor (5c). An adder/subtractor circuit (17) calculates the difference voltage between the output voltage of the voltage detecting circuit (15a) which is multiplied by one-third by a constant multiplication circuit (16a) and the output voltage of the voltage detecting circuit (15b) which is multiplied by one-third by a constant multiplication circuit (16b). A comparison determination circuit (18) determines abnormality of capacitors (4a, 4b) and the capacitor (4c) or capacitors (5a, 5b) and the capacitor (5c) according to the output voltages of the adder/subtractor circuit (17) and the output voltage of the voltage detecting circuit (15c).
