Abstract:
The invention relates to a capacitor, in particular an electrolytic capacitor. The capacitor has a housing cup. According to the invention, the capacitor is connected to a heat sink such that heat generated by the capacitor can be emitted to the heat sink. The heat sink preferably has a recess in which the capacitor is at least partially accommodated. The capacitor, in particular the housing cup, is connected to the heat sink at least in a heat conducting manner in the recess.
