Abstract:

A capacitor (2) in which a capacitor element (4) to which a lead terminal (8) is connected is covered by a resin. Said lead terminal, which extends from a resin layer (10) that covers the capacitor element, is provided with the following: a clearance section (stretch section (12)) that is exposed from the outer surface of the resin layer; a thin section (notch (14)); and step sections (18-1, 18-2) that form the boundaries between the clearance section and the thin section. The thin section is bent towards the step sections such that the lead terminal is positioned on the resin-layer side, the step sections overlap the thin section, and the thin section is positioned so as to surround the clearance section. This improves the bending precision of the lead terminal.
