Abstract:
A capacitor (1) comprises: a substrate (11) composed of an insulator and having a first main surface (111) and a second main surface (112) that face each other; a bottomed first trench (14a) formed in the first main surface (111) of the substrate (11); a first conductor (14) formed inside the first trench (14a); a first external electrode (12) formed on the first main surface (111)-side of the substrate (11) and connected to the first conductor (14); a bottomed second trench (15a) formed in the second main surface (112) of the substrate (11); a second conductor (15) formed inside the second trench (15a); and a second external electrode (13) formed on the second main surface (112)-side of the substrate (11) and connected to the second conductor (15). The first trench (14a) and the second trench (15a) overlap each other.
