Abstract:
The present invention achieves a capacitor in which a plurality of fiber-like core materials are fixed to a base material via a fixing layer, and which has high reliability. This capacitor includes a base material, a plurality of fiber-like core materials, and a fixing layer which has two mutually opposing principal surfaces with one principal surface disposed so as to contact a surface of the base material, and which embeds and fixes one end of each of the plurality of fiber-like core materials, wherein each of the plurality of fiber-like core materials is covered with a dielectric layer in a state in which at least the one end is exposed, the dielectric layer is covered with a conductive layer, and the length of a portion of the plurality of fiber-like core materials embedded in the fixing layer is greater than the distance between a contact part between the plurality of fiber-like core materials and the other principal surface of the fixing layer and the one principal surface of the fixing layer.
